It may seem strange to refer to the Lleyn peninsula having a south–eastern extremity, when it points generally slightly south of westwards. (I know it did to me, when I first heard this question.) But there is a subsidiary peninsula extending from its south coast, near its western extremity, which essentially points south–east; St. Tudwal's islands are to the east of this subsidiary peninsula, near its extremity.
The letter 'u' in Welsh is pronounced like the English 'i'; Tudwal is pronounced 'tid–wuhl'.
